Fall is falling...

One of my favorite times up here in the Mountains, is Autumn. With the elevation that our communities sit in, we are one of the few locations in Southern California that actually experience a change of seasons. This year, Summer seemed extraordinarily long and warm for most folks. Within the last two weeks or so, we have seemed to finally set in to more traditional Fall weather... bright colors changing with the days... more sweaters and jackets out and about... and perfect days for Grilled Cheese and Soup dinners. As a child growing up here some 20-30 odd years ago, we had DEFINITE seasonal changes and could almost bet on what day the first leaf was going to turn, or what day we would see the first snowflake. Now, we enjoy the weather as it comes, and hold on to each enjoyable moment for as long as we can. Whether or not it's "climate change", natural pace of things, etc.. the weather usually leaves most of us guessing nowadays, SO - enjoy that hot chocolate and those strolls through the leaves while you can. Don't put off 'till tomorrow, what you can savor today.
